Yuri plays the role of a fashion designer named Choi Anna in SBS’s series FashionKing. the clothes that she wears in the series are capturing the public’s attention. Even though this is
the first time Yuri has appeared, she is receiving many favorable reviews.
Yuri’s stylist says, “Many people are asking about the clothes and bags Yuri uses and features in the series. Most of them are people who work in the fashion industry.”
“I heard that Yuri’s clothes are sold out at a brand store. As a result, many fashion companies want to sponsor Yuri.”
Yuri, who has become a ‘Fashion King,’ previously drew a lot of attention by appearing in eye catching clothes.
People responded: “The clothes that were featured in the series were very pretty.” “I think it’s because Yuri is pretty not just the clothes are pretty.” “I bought the same clothes but it made me feel disappointed.”
Before SBS‘s ‘Fashion King‘ and KBS‘s ‘Love Rain‘ even aired, people were highly anticipating both dramas because they would each be starring a member from Girls’ Generation. At the same time, there were all sorts of predictions flying around the internet on which drama would come out on top in ratings. TV ratings of both series from AGB Nielsen were recently revealed, and according to the results, ‘Fashion King’ triumphed over ‘Love Rain’–big time! On March 27th, AGB Nielsen revealed that the first episode of ‘Love Rain’ recorded 5.8% in viewer ratings, much lower than what most had predicted.
On the other hand, ‘Fashion King’ drew in 9.2% in its latest episode, and did a good job hooking its audience with a fast paced story and an interesting plot. It also needs to be taken into account that ‘Fashion King’ aired a week before ‘Love Rain’, which could have been one of the factors behind its higher rating.
It’ll be interesting to see how the ratings will change as the two dramas go on.
Meanwhile, MBC‘s ‘Light and Shadow‘ recorded a whopping 20.6%, grabbing first spot in this time slot.

Girls Generation recently completed their comeback in Japan with Mr. Taxi, and are now back with Korean activities. On a recent performance of 'Hoot', our girls showed off their voices and dance moves from their most current Korean song. But something caught SONE's eye. Kwon Yuri, the second dancer, is unhealthily thin. On comment of the video of the performance uploaded on YouTube, they are talking about how Yuri is to skinny and people are worried.

On May 3rd, Girls' Generation's Yuri was spotted at the Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul to watch a baseball game. She was found with her stylist and another man watching the match between Doosan Bears and LG Twins.
Clad in a Doosan Bears jacket and with two caps emblazoned with the Doosan Bears logo placed in front of her, it was clear which team the trio was rooting for. Though looking a little tired, Yuri was still all smiles as she enthusiastically cheered for her favorite team.

This time around, MTV K chose the top 10 sexiest female idols through extensive research (we had Brown Eyed Girls’ “Abracadabra” on repeat), collection of scientific data (how many more photoshoots did one idol do?) and …..yea, just kidding!
