SNSD’s leader Taeyeon has been confirmed to sing a song for the drama, Athena: Goddess of War. For those that aren’t familiar, Athena: Goddess of War is a spin-off of the popular Korean drama, IRIS.
The representatives for the drama have announced the singers that will be participating in the OST. Taeyeon and Kangta will perform a duet and Brown Eyed Soul, Supreme Team, and Jang JaeIn are also set to sing for the OST. The last duet Taeyeon sang with Kangta was 7989, a song featured SNSD's first album and Kangta's 4th album "Eternity". The title "7989" refers to Kangta and Taeyeon's birth years and the lyrics reflect a love transcending 10 years.
