Results of the 2010 Japan Records Awards Rigged?

On 30th December 2010, The 52nd Japan Record Awards was held in Japan, Although Korea's Top Girl Group Girls' Generation won the ''Best New Artist Award'', the ''Best Rookie Award went to Japan Girl Group Smileage. Smileage is a Girl Group that debuted in 2010 May. Korean Music Fans and even people in the industry expressed their dissatisfaction with the results. Leaving comments like ''It's impossible, it's hard to understand''.

The reason why fans are dissatisfied are as follows: In terms of The amount of albums produced, ringtone downloads, attraction and popularity, is obviously higher than that of Smileage's. Somebody pointed out ''There's a very large percentage of the results being rigged''.

The Members of Japan Group Smileage is around 15 Years old, and it's Japan's ''So Nyuh'' Group. The special fact is that when they debut, they set Korean Girl Group Girls' Generation as their ''Opponent''. When
they debuted, they attracted people's attention, now, they won the Best Rookie Award in the Japan Record Awards, beating Girls' Generation. This again, became people's topic of discussion.

Actually, the weird point is not only this. Although artists in Japan and other countries attended the event, Kara, who Popularity and songs is at the same level as Girls' Generation, didn't even enter the ''Best New Artist Award'' List. Kara achieved good results in Japan as well, this obviously let to dissatisfaction

With these results, some Japan fans commented ''It's obvious that the Japan Company are trying to promote their own Japan singers, using ''Dirty'' ways to get the popular singers/groups out. This fact let us, Japanese fans, feel embarrassed''.
