Earlier in 2010, Wonder Girls member Sunmi announced that she will put her singing career on hold to continue her education. Since then, Sunmi has been studying hard. Now it seems her studying has paid off! It was recently announced that Sunmi has been accepted in Dongguk University.
In October, Sunmi was already accepted by the university as a part of a program called "Top Student". However, wanting to get into the school on her own, she studied and took the entrance exam. With that, the school officials have just made their final decision to admit her into the 2011 class.
JYP Entertainment has also confirmed that she will be attending Dongguk University. Sunmi will join Girls' Generation member Yoona and Seohyun at the school.
