The ’2011 Style Icon Awards’ representative made clarifications regarding the technical sound error during SNSD‘s stage.
SNSD were honored as one of the 10 style icons named at the ’2011 Style Icon Awards’ (SIA) onNovember 3rd.
It was bound to be a good they for SNSD members but when SNSD were performing ‘The Boys’on stage, something had happened making it appear there was a technical sound error.
Towards the end of SNSD’s song, when it was Jessica‘s solo, the mic did not work correctly cutting off the song.
Right after the SNSD performance at the SIA, netizens complained, “SNSD another sound error?”, “Why did it have to happen during SNSD performance?”, and “It was going so well till the sound error at the end”.
Netizens obviously recalled that on October 15th, when SNSD performed at the ‘Asia Song Festival’, they also had experienced a sound error during the performance of ‘Run Devil Run’.
SIA representative revealed during a phone conversation with NewsEN, “That was the part where the mechanical sound was. On site, it was fine but I’m taken aback by the fact that it sounded that way on TV. It doesn’t seem to be a technical sound error”.
This year, actor Cha Seung Won was named the ‘Style Icon of the Year’ at the SIA as well as the main ‘Style Icon’ award along with singers IU, Park Jung Hyun, Jung Jae Hyung, Lee Seung Chul, SNSD, and Actors, Yoo Ah In, Go So Young, Go Soo, and Ji Sung.
