Girl group Girls' Generation appeared on the "Late Night Show with David Letterman"
earlier tonight and made their debut on television with their title
song "The Boys," from their debut album of the same name released on
January 31st.
The host, David Letterman, introduced the girls, "Our next guests are a very popular group from South Korea who have just released their first album in America. It's entitled 'The Boys.' Please welcome, making their network television debut, Girls' Generation."
When Girls' Generation finished their live performance, David Letterman approached the group and made an attempt to say "thank you" in Korean.
Girls' Generation was quotes saying, "When we heard that we would be appearing on television, our hearts pounded until we finally completed the performance. We had a fun and enjoyable time appearing on the 'Late Show with David Letterman.'"
Bill Murray, known for his role in the movie "Ghostbusters," took a commemorative photo with the popular South Korean girl group backstage. Both the group and actor can be seen with wide smiles and peace signs from a few of the members.
Prior to the recording, Girls' Generation met fans who had flocked to the Ed Sullivan Theater to see their favorite girl group.
Girls' Generation will make another appearance on U.S. television on February 1st on the the show "Live With Kelly!". The show will broadcast at 9AM EST on ABC and is co-hosted by Daniel Radcliff.
Daniel Radcliff, known for his role as Harry Potter in the "Harry Potter" movie series, has also recently confessed that someone had given him Girls' Generation's CD "The Boys," to which he has yet to listen to. In addition, Kelly Ripa has also commented that she has received various tweets from Soshi fans all over the world on their excitement on the group's debut on the show.
