The revenues recorded by SM Entertainment’s artistes in the past 3 years have garnered huge attention recently.
According to the electronic disclosure system of the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) on March 12th, through the disclosure data of SM Entertainment’s investment prospectus dated March 6th, it was revealed that Girls’ Generation have recorded sales revenue of 17.003 billion won in 2009, 30.044 billion won in 2010 and 21.737 billion won up to the 3rd quarter of 2011.
From 2009 to the 3rd quarter of 2011, the girls have garnered a total revenue amounting to 68.811 billion won. If 4th quarter of 2011 were to be included, it would have surpassed 70 billion won. The figure would go beyond the 100 billion won mark if Girls’ Generation’s Japanese activities were also taken into account.
