[Edmonton Update] The Mac Café Formal Dinner & Silent Auction

There is an estimated 1.5 million children that live on the streets in the Philippines. With your help we can liberate these children from the streets with the upcoming Mac Café Formal Dinner and Silent Auction in support of Streetlight, a Philippines based non-profit organization that helps eradicate child poverty. Since 2006, Streetlight has been working with children living on the streets of Tacloban, Philippines. Their goal is to give these children a loving and caring childhood, education and regained faith in a family life.

The University of Alberta Philippine Students’ Association is working together with volunteers and substantial benefactors to make this event possible. The money raised from this event will be used for the development of educational and medical institutions for these street children to help prevent the use of drugs, human trafficking, child prostitution and starvation. With your help we can assist these children have a better future and make a difference along with our prominent sponsors that support us for this cause.
