This marks the first of what should be a fun weekly segment we are starting here at iSNSD. Every week we are going to post a past performance of SNSD, whether it is a classic performance, an unknown performance that we feel needs more love, or even just a personal favorite.
What better way to begin this new topic than with going back to the beginning. Into the New World was a long time ago, and just as the song talks about, it marked the beginning of Girls' Generations journey into a new and unknown world for them, the world of being a nationally recognized K-Pop group. What I love most about this video, is that now as we approach the fifth anniversary of the girls first taking the stage we can look back and see just how far they have come. David Letterman, sold out shows in New York and Los Angeles, and numerous Awards were probably one of the last things SNSD was thinking about as they embarked on their first music show appearances. We can see just how much they have grown, and feel a sense of pride for these nine young girls who began a journey on a road filled with turmoil, growth, and incredible accomplishments.
