Campus Style: SNSD Seohyun VS KARA's Goo Hara

Two of Korea’s most popular girl groups', Girls’ Generation (SNSD) and KARA, youngest members Seo Hyunand Goo Hara just can’t get out of the spotlight - even at school. Fans just can’t get enough of the two college freshmen/idols. Both shed their stage costumes and heavy makeup for a light and natural style more befitting their age.


Goo Hara - Lovely Fashion Queen


KARA’s Goo Hara’s every day student life has been captured on camera numerous times by her fellow classmates. A freshman at Sung Shin Women’s University, she has been a fashion icon with her lovely fashion styles. In one photo, she wore a bright yellow cardigan with a clean white blouse for a fresh and bubbly look. In another, she matched a gray jacket with a sky blue bag to liven up her outfit. Goo Hara’s wavy hair softened her overall image for a more delicate girly look.

Despite her busy schedule promoting both in Korea and overseas, Seo Hyun has been diligently attending her classes and enjoying college life. There are many photos of Seo Hyun hanging around the campus with her friends and studying floating in the internet. She’s seen in a comfortable tracksuit with her hair in a ponytail.


No matter what they’re dressed in or where they are, these young idol stars manage to outshine everyone else. Seeing them in their everyday clothes and at school make them seem more like us.

Seohyun Crowned 1st as Person Most Wanted to Spend Coming-of-Age Day With Hara

With the coming-of-age ceremony on May 16th, there is much attention on celebrities born in the year 1991 since they are set to become adults. In an online survey involving 100 people, Seohyun was most selected as the person they would want to spend the special day with.

Seohyun topped the poll, with Kara's Goo Hara and Shinee's Minho ranking second and third respectively. Other idol stars included Mblaq's Mir, After School's Nana and 2AM's Jinwoon.

Those who participated in the survey commented that "Girls' Generation's Seohyun is pure and has a feminine charm, it would be nice to spend and enjoy the day with such a beautiful girl." Another said that, "Behind the mature and sophisticated Seohyun, her attraction is also that she is always warm."

An old video of KARA's Goo Hara singing "Because I Am A Girl" on MTV’s “Director’s has stirred much controversy these days.

Netizens posted a lot of hate comments instead of encouraging words after watching Hara's performance.
