She's a SUPER WOMAN !

“It was really brave of her, really. I had my whole family supporting me. They’re here with me right now, but she still doesn’t have her family here and now she’s so big, she’s so huge, here in Korea. And, I think her family would really be happy.” - SNSD Jessica.
“Tiffany cannot lead in dancing or anything but she knows her weakness well, and to improve…for example if we had to master some choreography in one hour, she would practice for another two more hours. So yeah, I was envious of her hard working spirit.” - SNSD Yuri.
“She really studies hard. She became the MC for a music show and she felt proud and studied even harder. Everyday she would study the script and write down things she didn’t know, and ask about words she doesn’t understand and would write down the definitions.” - SNSD Yoona.
“All of my unnies take care of me very well, but Tiffany takes care of me a lot.” - SNSD SeoHyun.
“When I had an eye contact with her randomly, she shows that sweet eye smile. Every time I see that smile, I feel happier. It makes me to smile along side her so hard that my cheekbone starts to hurt” -Inkigayo scriptwriter.
“Aegyoful cute Tiffany. She gave me chocolate, and after the shooting, She sat right next to me on the floor. Not sure why but she looked and smiled happily at my startled expression. So we took this picture, and took another one using my cell phone. She’s really cheerful and kind. Probably that was a part her training…but it’s hard to find someone kind and good mannered like her these days. I just want to say I was honored that we shared a lengthy conversation.” - Arena staff member.
“The door opened and Tiffany first came inside the studio. Slim legs and bright smile. She already became a lady from a girl. But the ground shaking sound of “Hello!”, her unique greeting is still the same. Without a doubt, Tiffany has the sincerest greeting manner among idol singers I have seen. Not only that she really actively participates in the interviews. Well, half of things she talks about is on herself, but for another half, she talks about how good other members are before anyone.” - Interviewer from 10 Asia.
“SNSD members are all nice. Especially Tiffany and Sunny are examples of really nice young adults, which is kind of hard to find these days. They are like angels. I should have known it from the last photo-shoot I had with them. Those two greeted 45 staff members individually. Truthfully, this never happens and I would almost say that it’s weird to see such a situation. Tiffany was also very unique. All throughout shooting, she kept advertising for us. I guess she had a phone call during the 1 hour break for lunch. She kept repeating on the phone that everyone here is really nice and fun to work with. That made me feel so thankful, but in addition, she would make and bring coffee for staff members. Usually it would be the staffs who would bring coffee for the idols, so how nice must that have been… Photographer Kim Dongchul was eating a sandwich and she went over there to thank him and give him a little massage. After shooting, Kim Dongchul said, “They are really nice people. I wish I can marry off my son to one of them,” and was full of other good compliments. Tiffany brought a chair for the editor who stood up to organize the charts, and Sunny, who did not have any breakfast herself, handed out sandwiches to all staff members before sitting down to eat herself. I really want to thank the two of them and say that they grew up really well. I remember being really surprised a few weeks ago, on Kim Jungeun’s Chocolate, Tiffany said that her mother… was not with her anymore. I thought that Tiffany was raised so well inspite of that and would like to see my daughters grow up to be like Tiffany in the future.” - Ceci Fashion Editor.

I was holding the reflector for her and was just three feet away from her and I was so tired I murmured ‘oh darn… so tiring…’ then Tiffany looked at me and said ‘It is tiring yes? Hwaiting!! “When Tiffany laughs, she laughs so innocently and like a child. But she’s really mature and adult-like. She’s really thoughtful and I think there are lots of things we can learn from her.” - Sooyoung. “She can shed tears because she went through a lot of pain that people don’t know about.” - Kang Ho Dong during strong heart talking about Tiffany’s pre-debut years.
“Because of my introverted personality, it was really difficult at first but Fany supported me well. She’s younger than me but I learned a lot from her. She’s really hardworking, and it feels comfortable around her.” - Kim Hyesung

1. Fany’s special habit is cutting her food before eating

3. SNSD once left home without Tiffany by accident, and Tiffany actually came running after them in tears.

The Rise of Tiffany Hwang Mi-Young – from “Mushroom” to “Angel”

A short discourse on how our favourite “eye smiles” girl rose from “mushroom” to “angelic” Tiffany.
Born on August 1st 1989 in California, USA, the youngest of 3 siblings, who can forget the day our favourite “mushroom” appeared on the fans’ “radar screen” as the adorable “eye smiles” girl of the Korean Pop group “Girls Generation” ?!!
From flubbing her song lines to missing her dance steps to being too “direct” to her Korean elders, Tiffany (Stephanie) did almost everything that guaranteed a quick and ignominious exit from the K-Pop scene! Yet, here she is, 4 years post-debut, still making the occasional mistake, but now having a HUGE “Fanytastic” fan-base, 2 solo singles under her proverbial belt, many, many commercial endorsements, a VERY SUCCESSFUL musical career with 8 other “beautiful girls” and the LOVE of millions around the world: fans, non-fans, new fans, old and young, male and female!
So, what’s her “secret”? Is it the fact that she can give an “eye smile” that will literally “melt” the heart and resolve of the toughest of opponents? Is it the fact that she is “angelically” naturally beautiful? Is it because of her extremely cutebehaviour? Her height? Her hair? NO, I personally believe she’s where she is now because she is able, with The Good Lord’s help, to personify the concept of Agape (or selfless) Love to all and sundry.
Many a time in her short, but, oh so eventful, musical/acting/hosting career, Tiffany has shown a resolve and determination to do her very best in all that she has been tasked to do, sometimes even at the expense of her overall health! Yet, no where in all this does she seek to succeed at the expense of others. In fact, the very opposite is true; Tiffany will Always seek to help when she sees a need that arises! Such behaviour is so atypical of people in the “cut-throat” entertainment industry and is surely, I believe, a God-given trait to His children, of which, I am happy to say, Tiffany is one of.
I’ll always remember the posted fan account of how she helped a so-called “anti” when the latter had an accident in front of the SME building in Korea. Alternatively, how about another fan account where she so kindly aided another 2 first-time Thai “fans” to get their manicures performed in a Korean nail shop, when the former 2 visited while she was there having her nails done prior to a concert engagement ? Tiffany could have acted the diva in both cases and ignored (or worse, gloated over the misfortune of the “anti” in the first example) the ones in need. After all, she is a celebrity! But, she did not and, in fact, went the “other way” to help out the afflicted parties to the very best of her abilities. Tiffany puts into practice what she believes in and has been taught to believe in as a child of the Living God, and that is her ultimate charm and thesecret to her success and popularity. How else can one explain the “hue and cry” that arose in the K-Pop industry, and even the media, when she injured her knee during the “Hoot” promotion tours, forcing SM Entertainment to eventually cut-short the whole “exercise”?!!
When Tiffany eventually recovered after about a month or so of recuperation, the news was so significant that it was even reported in the media in Japan, both print and audio-visual! SM Entertainment even modified the dance choreography of some of the “Girls” hit songs to accommodate her recently healed knee! The world became a much brighter place when Tiffany finally returned on-stage with her “angelic” beauty and her irresistible “eye smiles”!
Yet, in spite of all this, Tiffany still remained as humble and as helpful as ever, ever ready to flash a smile or give a laugh to cheer someone up, whether her “unnies” in SNSD or a fanboy/fangirl. Herein lay her charm: Tiffany is indeed the personification of LOVE in word and deed.
A mushroom is something that is often ignored and kept in the dark, to grow in silence and loneliness. [Divine] Tiffany Hwang's Faith.

Although Sooyoung is often the member recognized for her public faith in God, Tiffany is also a very devout Christian. She has displayed it continuously, even before her debut on her goodbye letter to friends before moving to Korea.
