Girls’ Generation Wraps Up Promotions for “Party” to Get Ready for August Comeback

Sad news today for Sones, as Girls’ Generation will be wrapping up promotions for their summer song “Party” today at MBC “Music Core.” The wait will not be as long, however, as the popular girl group is already in the midst of preparing for a new comeback this coming August.
The group will also be promoting a double title track on this next comeback cycle. Girls’ Generation previously revealed bits of two other songs earlier this month entitled “Lion Heart” and “You Think” in a teaser video that was released through the official SMTOWN Youtube channel.
The 8-member Girls’ Generation is confirmed to be releasing a full album including the two songs on their upcoming comeback next month.

WARNING: VERY LONG DESCRIPTION COMING UP!

Change of scenery! NOT my choice... I was told to move to this room (the party room) b/c "my attire is not appropriate" for the gym, omg...it was a dance studio! -_-... Anyways, it's better than nothing i guess...haha at least i got to use this room! But there are no mirrors, and the floor is hardwood, as opposed to the gym which has carpet floors, so I wasn't used to it..aiyaaa! And it's kind of too bright eh?

ANYWAYS, enough of that. I am now going to spazz about what happened last week...hehe-- I WENT TO SMTOWN IN NYC YEEEE!!! :DDD
The first thing that comes to my mind when i think of the concert is: IT WAS SO LOUD. I don't know if it was just my hearing or what...but by the middle of the concert, everyone started sounding like chipmunks :S lol but it was AMAZING nonetheless. The loudness added to the excitement..hehe. And i'm not joking, when "The Boys" started playing, i screamed like there's no freaking tomorrow omg. That was one of my fave performances of the night!

AAAAND 2 days before the concert, me & my friends were walking around nyc when we saw f(x), Super Junior, TVXQ, and SHINee walking out of a random restaurant....*.*...Sungmin was the first one who walked out and my goodness HIS HAIR is as bright as the sun...i was mesmerized...The best looking ones in person, i think, are Jonghyun and Yunho! But all of them seriously stand out from us normal people haha! AS IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH, the day before the concert, we bumped into DONGHAE at times square and shook his hand...#@$*& I'm not even a huge fan of him, but he is sooo freaking good looking it's not even funny...

LOL sooo this is my cover of SNSD's new song "The Boys"! I know i haven't made a cover in a while, but i am genuinely busy with school...never-ending essays and midterms seriously. But ye! of course i can't pass up covering my loves SNSD :D Many people have said they don't like this song, but i personally loved it from the moment i heard it haha xD And of course i like the dance, but when i was learning it, SOOYOUNG really stood out to me! She is so fierce in this dance! BUT all of them are, of course, amazing :D

Where to begin? I’ve been with these ladies through nearly all my high school years. They are truly inspiring to everyone, but especially to females because they give us empowerment and a sense of security. This is the first MV I've ever made so I really hope you like it. I tried to be as creative as possible with the video effects and transitions. The track itself was a really interesting thing to make because it involved recording samples with my microphone around campus (small bleeps and clicks). Yeah....I walk around campus with a microphone....yikes.

SM Entertainment recently revealed pictures of SNSD’s poster for their 2nd solo concert, entitled “2011 Girls’ Generation Tour”.

In the picture, SNSD members appeared very mature, especially YoonA and Seohyun who showed their refined and elegant appearances through their ‘Goddess’-like postures. Netizens commented, “A perfect Goddess pose”, “I can feel the confidence from their eyes” and “Feels more and more mature as time goes by” etc.

On the other hand, why do YoonA, Seohyun and other similar girl group stars appear attractive to the people?

Doctor Pak Jun Han from the MyungJak Cosmetic Surgery Hospital made the following comments about this question:

“SNSD and other similar girl group stars have been doing long term vocal and dance trainings, they also do physical trainings to maintain a well-balanced body shape. Through broadcasts they also revealed that after their debut, they have been working very hard to train their musical talents and good bodies even during their busy schedules. Top ranking stars are also working endlessly towards building their reputations and being a good role model for the people.”

According to representatives of the advertising industry which is sensitive to the reaction of the public, SNSD are the leading figures in the CF market. They have strong influence on products such as food, franchise and fashion sales targeting at people aged between 15 to 19 years old. They also have extreme influence on women of age group between 20 to 30.

Besides these, SNSD have also made huge waves outside Korea, especially in Japan.

SNSD, who released their Japanese debut single album “Genie” in September 2010, has been obtaining top rankings on the Oricon chart for every single/album they released since then. According to Japanese news site Sankei Sports, the total profit from SNSD’s releases alone in the 2nd half of 2010 was 800 million Yen (10.7 billion Won).
