Girls' Generation's new Japanese MV "Paparazzi" Teaser Revealed!
The official SMTOWN YouTube Channel has just released a teaser for a new Girls' Generation Japanese single called "Paparazzi"! The teaser shows the Girls moving through a crowded lobby of a theater surrounded by security and flashing cameras, as well as taking the stage in front of a full audience inside the theater.

Maxi Single of ‘The Boys’ will be Released Worldwide on December 20th!
A World-Renowned Hip-Hop Musician, Snoop Dogg, Featured as a Rapper!
The Special Album of ‘The Boys’ will be Released Through Universal Music Group on January 17th!
Girls’ Generation, who has fascinated global music fans with the 3rd album title song, ‘The Boys,’ will release ‘The Boys’ Maxi Single worldwide on the 20th.
On December 20th, Girls’ Generation will release ‘The Boys’ Maxi Single worldwide through an affiliated major label of Universal Music Group, Interscope Records, which distributes music for Lady Gaga, Eminem and the Black Eyed Peas, etc. through iTunes. Also, the album will be available on various music websites in Korea, so it is predicted to cause worldwide Girls’ Generation-fever once again.
Especially, Girls’ Generation recorded ‘The Boys’ with a world-renowned hip-hop musician, Snoop Dogg, so the remix version of ‘The Boys,’ which features Girls’ Generation’s powerful voice with Snoop Dogg’s rap featuring, is good enough to fascinate music fans all over the world.
Also, Snoop Dogg and Interscope Records’ new rapper, Lil Playy, participated in this Maxi Single and featured the remix version of ‘The Boys.’
In addition, the special album, which includes ‘The Boys,’ will be released in the Americas, Europe, etc. through Universal Music Group on January 17th. Since this album contains songs from the 3rd album as well as Korean version of songs for foreign fans, who are difficult to get Korean albums, it is expected to receive an explosive response.
Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation won the 1st place on ‘KBS Music Bank’ with ‘The Boys’ for 6 consecutive weeks and won ‘Artist of the Year’ and ‘Best Female Group’ on ‘2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards’ held in Singapore on November 29th.

It is indeed the warmest gift this Christmas, the 2011 SMTown Winter Album.
This album will feature all the artists from SMTown and it is expected to be released on the 13th of December. The album will contain 7 new songs as well as some famous carols like 'Last Christmas' and 'Sleigh Ride' all recorded in English.

We
are proud to announce the first auditions for the school!! All students
must undergo the audition process and apply for entry into the school.
Judges will review the contestants and offer entry based on their
application and audition. We are looking for singers, dancers, and
musical actors/actresses.
Multiple scholarships to one semester of professional training (worth $7000) will be awarded to top students. So everyone who's interested in working in the Entertainment industry should apply!! All Applicants need to prepare the following: 1. Korean Song with Music Recording (1 minute) 2. America Song with Music Recording (1 minute) 3. Dance segment with Music Recording (1 miinute) 4. Korean Monologue, if possible, otherwise in English 5. Please dress fashionable if possible. If you need to change, we will have a dressing room ready. 6. Please wear comfortable shoes to dance in (we will be having a separate dance session where you will learn choreography on the spot) For those who are out of state or cannot attend the December 17th audition: 1. Sing one Korean song (1 minute) 2. Sing one American song (1 minute) 3. Dance segment any song (1 minute) 4. Korean Monologue, if possible, otherwise in English 5. Show us a fashionable outfit on the video 6. Please record all of this in one video, upload to YouTube or Vimeo and email us the link with the completed application. Fill out an application and include a clear face picture. All Applicants are STRONGLY encouraged to submit Youtube videos with their applications. Applicants can include audio clips, Youtube video clips, or other media files as well. Applicants can compress multiple files and submit it in a zip file or 7zip file. Pictures should be in jpeg or png format. Please include these links with your application. Please state if you cannot attend the December 17th audition. Applicants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the Parent Release Form for Media Recording. All other Applicants must sign the Release Form for Media Recording. Send your completed application email to info@hitsny.com. Please use the following for your SUBJECT: Application: Last, First Name Failure to do so may result in us not receiving your submission. Judges will be a prestigious fashion designer, choreographer director, singer/song writers from Korea and a surprise guest (not an idol). Attend only if you will be auditioning.
