Singer Yoon Dohyun drew laughter recently by combining his picture with a picture from Girls' Generation's "Run Devil Run".
Yoon Dohyun posted a "Run Devil Run" image onto his Twitter with his face on top of the Girls' Generation's members faces along with the message, "This is 'Dohyun's Generation'? Do it right. You're really a bad boy", causing people to burst into laughter.
Netizens who saw the picture said, "His popularity reaches the sky. I'm going to look forward to his next parody" and "How is he so cute", among other remarks.

YB Covers 'Run Devil Run' in Concert

Girls' Generation's songs are so popular, they have even crossed over into different genres.
The popular rock band Yoon Do Hyun Band (YB) covered Girls' Generation's "Run Devil Run" during a performance at a festival at Gimhae College on May 3rd. YB will also sing the song on an upcoming episode of MBC's "I'm a Singer". In the episode that aired on May 15th, performers, including YB, sang a little bit of their respective songs as a preview. These songs, which were suggested by netizens, will air and be judged during next week's show in full.

Mr Taxi and RunDevilRun sells 100,000 in First Week!

After reaching the top of the charts in Japan within a few days, Girls' Generation's newly released single 'MR. TAXI/Run Devil Run' managed to sustain its momentum, selling 100,000 copies in the first week of its release. The single also managed to reach second place in the weekly Oricon rankings. With the strong sales of their first original Japanese single and the enthusiastic response to the Japanese concert tour, the girls' popularity in Japan is at an all-time high.
In related news, the 'MR. TAXI' dance PV that was released last week has surpassed 2,000,000 views on the official Universal Music Japan YouTube page.

[04.17.11] Taeyeon Manhandled During Security Lapse at Angel Festival
On 17th April 2011, Girls' Generation performed at the Angel Price Music Festival, organised jointly by Lotte World and Coupang.
During the event, an unfortunate incident happened, as the hired security was lax and did not perform up to standards. Near the end of the 'Run Devil Run' stage, Taeyeon was dragged off-stage by an unidentified individual. The other members were also caught unawares and tried to stop the man, to no avail. The event's host, comedian Oh Jungtae, managed to prevent the man from dragging Taeyeon away. According to fanaccounts, the man appeared from back-stage and was later detained and apprehended by security after the performance.
Despite the sudden and shocking circumstances, Taeyeon kept calm throughout and even reassured fans that she was alright after the incident was contained. The girls went on to continue to perform 'Hoot' and 'Gee' with smiles, showing their highly professional attitude. Leader Taeyeon in particular showed that she was not affected by the incident, with fantaken pictures and videos of her showing a bright smile in the subsequent performances.

SNSD to donate “MR. TAXI / Run Devil Run” revenue for Japanese Disaster Relief
Via tokyohive: SNSD / Girls’ Generation will be donating a portion of their revenue from their upcoming April 27th Japanese single, “MR.TAXI/ Run Devil Run” to Japan’s Red Cross in order to provide assistance to the victims of the tragic 
The members of SNSD along with the staff members are all wishing that the victims who were effected by the disaster can go back to their original peaceful life as soon as possible.

Preview of SNSD’s ‘Run Devil Run’ Japanese MV and Mr. Taxi revealed!
Back in January, SNSD unleashed the Japanese version of their hit song, “Run Devil Run“, to kick off their 2011 promotions in Japan. A preview for their upcoming music video was recently broadcasted through a Japanese variety show, and although the changes may seem quite small to some, the new scenes have stunned many.The actual preview lasts for about approximately 30 seconds.
