While this song is presented with the powerful and impressive performance of the Girls' Generation, the dance motion for the chorus became quite a hit in Japan as well as all of Asia.

[News & Thoughts] 3rd repackaged album "MR.TAXI concept" thoughts.
SM Entertainment has announced that there is a "new" 3rd "repackaged" album coming out on december the 7th. So far from the information currently released that it will focus on promoting the MR.TAXI concept, and the songs from THE BOYS. No additional songs have been confirmed on the "repackaged" album but SONE's anticipate that there will be new photos/photo-cards for the album.

Thoughts: Now for MY personal little timbit, note all the quotations in the beginning paragraph. What the FREAK are you doing SM? This "new 3rd repackaged album" is just unnecessary in my opinion. Really if they decided to promote TRICK or OSCAR from THE BOYS album I wouldn't be as peeved off as I am right now. Recycling songs (translating it back to korean) that have done good in the past and just passing them off as the "NEW" title song on the "repackaged album" really ticks me off. Don't get me wrong I love MR.TAXI and its concept, but I really I would like to hear something new/fresh from the promotions. MR TAXI did good in the k-charts and I can slightly understand why SM did this since this is a "safe play" for business and they know that a lot of SONEs will buy this album even if its just a recycled album.
I don't know if I can stand SM's lazy production team anymore, the MV's lately have just been dancing in a room with close up shots and no story, now they just come up with another album version. Well at least we SONE can HOPEFULLY get a new MV for MR.TAXI if they are going for this. Sad part is that I'm probably going to end up buying it anyway. I love you Soshi and SM, but seriously reconsider.

Girls' Generation Comeback at Inkigayo
Today, October, 23rd 2011 Girls' Generation finally made their comeback at Inkigayo with Mr. Taxi (Korean version) and The Boys (Korean version).
Inkigayo also aired "Egg Song" Video with Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Hyoyeon, and Seohyun are singing in the video.
Actually today's performances were their pre-recording. Because of SMtown live in New York concert the girls are scheduled to arrive in New York today (according to facebook Smtown staff, the girls have arrived in New York today).

[Epitone REMIX] SNSD - Mr. Taxi

I tried my best on the vocals guys. I'm gonna be getting a new program just for vocal extracting so hopefully in the future the vocal track will sound a lot better.
The remix's structure in this mix is a little different than my other remixes. Mostly due to the part of the badly ripped vocals. This one has only really one break, which is in the middle of the song. The rest are just your standard verse, build, chorus. I just felt that the break was out of place, but was a necessary at the same time. I might have executed it wrong. I don't know but SNSD's songs are definitely a challenge to remix. The structure of their songs are really unique and something about their production is stamped into all their tracks.
Hmm hope you guys enjoyed it. I was so frustrated in this track and gave it my best. Too bad it didn't turn out the way I wanted it. Let me know what you think!
